Documentation on importing CSV into bitcoin.tax

Download CSV

• Select bitcointax in the download CSV prompt.

Import CSV

• Go to https://bitcoin.tax/home#trading (Trading tab)

• Under Trading Tab,

  • Select Import Trades -> "Bitcoin.Tax CSV" (very lower right)

  • Enter any Account Name (i.e. "terra")

• Upload CSV according to instructions.

That's it!

You'll notice that Trading/Income/Spending transactions are split into 3 tabs. The CSV includes transactions across all 3 categories.

Notes

Omitted transactions

All transactions starting with underscore are omitted from the bitcoin.tax CSV (i.e. _LP_WITHDRAW). This means these transactions must be imported into bitcoin.tax manually (or ignored where appropriate).
